John Dixon Vaughan, III has been practicing law since 2020. He serves as General Counsel to the Marietta Housing Authority and joins J. Lynn Rainey in representing Community Improvement Districts (CIDs) in the Metro Atlanta area.
John is a graduate of the Georgia State University College of Law. Prior to beginning his legal career, he served as the Press Secretary to former Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal and worked as a public relations consultant while attending law school. John interned for the late U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson in Washington, D.C.
John earned bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Public Relations from the University of Georgia, received certification in Using Social Media to Build Business from the University of Georgia Center for Continuing Education, and is a graduate of The Walker School in Marietta.
